In my opinion the writer of the song wants to stay in the present time, because he is very happy with his love, and if time passes everything is going to be lost forever. He means that happiness lasts only a moment with the woman he loves. Only.

i think its a very romantic song and at the same time it is a sad one because you loved so much that moment and you know its going to end in any moment. He is dedicating this song for the love of his life because of all the things he wrote and you can clearly see that they are really in love.
